Mentors support teams throughout the hackathon with technical guidance, product feedback and payment domain expertise. Teams are encouraged to schedule an optional midway check-in with a mentor - see Mentor support for details.

Balazs Kiss
Head of IT & DevOps Engineer at Personal Trust
Balazs Kiss is the Head of IT and a DevOps Engineer at Personal Trust, where his work spans technology leadership, software development, cloud infrastructure and modernising digital systems within the financial services sector. He is also the organiser of the Cape Town Software Development Meetup, bringing together developers and technology professionals to share knowledge, explore emerging technologies and create opportunities for collaboration.
As the main organiser of the Interledger Mini Grant Hackathon, Balazs brings together his experience in technology, fintech and developer community building to explore how open payment technologies can address real-world challenges and contribute to more accessible and innovative payment solutions.
Ineke Kiss
UX Consultant, Product Designer & UX Educator
Ineke Kiss is a UX Consultant, Product Designer and UX Educator with over 10 years of experience across digital design, research and product development. She previously taught UX Design at Noroff School of Technology and Digital Media, where she supported emerging designers in developing practical, user-centred solutions.
As an organiser and judge for the Interledger Mini Grant Hackathon, Ineke brings a user-centred perspective to the judging panel, with a particular interest in how technology can address real-world challenges through thoughtful, practical and inclusive design.
