Who can participate?
Teams can be multidisciplinary - you don't need to be a developer to take part. The hackathon is open to:
- Software developers
- UX and UI designers
- Product designers
- Fintech professionals
- Students and early-career technologists
- Entrepreneurs and community innovators
- Payment and financial technology enthusiasts
Team size
Teams should ideally include three to five participants, with at least one person able to work on the technical implementation.
If you don't have a team yet, you can still register - we will do our best to place individuals into teams. Indicate on the registration form that you are registering as an individual.
Online format and limited places
The hackathon is an online competition, giving teams the flexibility to collaborate in the way that works best for them. Whether you choose to work remotely or meet in person, your team can organise its own schedule throughout the hackathon.
To ensure a high quality experience for participants and judges, places are limited to 15 teams. Teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis once registration has been reviewed.
